What: Event Branding—print/digital signage
The Grace Hopper Celebration is the world’s largest gathering of women technologists. This event features keynote speakers, an expo hall where attendees can talk to employees of tech companies around the world, an interview hall where in-person interviews are held for current job positions, and hundreds of breakout sessions throughout each day of the program.
Role: Sr. Project Manager two years in a row directing and managing all print and digital signage for this four day event. I managed the client relationship and all vendors involved (general contractor, all venue branding leads - OCCC, Hyatt, Rosen Centre, in-house printers, visitorlando.com). I led weekly calls keeping everyone informed of recent accomplishments, budget updates, and needs from the client for the vendors. I provided direction on bigger signage placement including smart ways to brand while not utilizing all of our budget in one area; in addition to being intentional on each branding moment.
During the seven months of planning, I spent hours upon hours making sure my vendors and I nailed it, so our clients could shine.
